Eid al-Adha for the year 2021 is celebrated/ observed on sundown of Wednesday, June 28th ending at sundown on Thursday, June 29th. Eid al-Adha is held around the 10th to the 13th days of the Islamic month of Dhu al-Hijjah and commemorates Ibrahim's sacrifice of his son to God.
Eid al-Fitr for the year 2023 is celebrated/ observed on sundown of Friday, April 21st ending at sundown on Saturday, April 22nd. Eid al-Fitr is on the first day of the month of Shawwal (Islamic Calendar) and marks the end of Ramadan (month long fasting) and the beginning of a feast that breaks the fast.
