About Us
ABOUT OUR STORY
For Many years, our Malian community living in Philadelphia lacked a place of Worship and a space to hold other religious events. After Years of using others’ Masjid to hold prayers and other events, in 2004, our men and women living in the community made the decision to begin fundraising in order to have their own place of worship. From 2004-2012, With faith, commitment, Patience and dedication, our Malian community was able to save enough money to purchase a place of worship. With Allah’s grace and blessings, Masjid Ar Rahman opened its doors to serve Philadelphians and became the primary place of worship for Malian men and women.
